Happy Easter!

A belated Happy Easter to you!
I hope you had a great weekend! My Easter weekend was awesome...we had a huge family dinner..lots of family and great food!

Now for a brief update...
My bungy jumping experience was incredible...I would certainly do it again someday! Although I was terrified prior to my jump as is evident in some of the pics, I'm glad I did it. It was a huge adrenaline rush! The girls and I had a great time on the trip up to the 'Bungy Zone' and through out the rest of the day.... after our jump, we went to the mall and did some shopping and then we were off to dinner at a local restaurant...the food was fabulous!

As for my training...all is well this week....I can't complain :) My pre-contest prep starts in less than one month...stay tuned for the upcoming progress pics!
Bye for now....

Hi!
I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to post in my journal last week, I was suffering from a severe head cold that left me congested and disfunctional for almost a week..YUCK! I even missed a few work-outs.
Be sure to check out the video updates next week, the footage should be very cool! I'm going Bungy jumping tomorrow with some girlfriends and all of the footage from my jump will be available in the video section next week :) If we have time, I'm hoping to get some pics with my friends to add to the galleries section too!
One more thing, I'm just wondering if you have any requests for a gallery that you'd like to see added in the near future or perhaps, a video clip...if you have a suggestion, feel free to drop me a line!
Have a great weekend!

The Arnold..and my training

As I'm sure you know...the Arnold classic is on this weekend in Colombus, Ohio. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the show this year, but I will be watching it on PPV this afternoon. I'm truly looking forward to it :) The women competed yesterday....the results were interesting...my dear friend Desiree Ellis placed third in the lightweight class...and another fellow Canadian, Christine Roth placed fifth in the heavyweight class...both of these ladies looked great. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the 20% reduction in muscle mass/conditioning...it may take some getting used to...the ladies were in great condition, but softer than previous events. The men are on stage today and I'm really curious to see the outcome!
Well, that's enough about the Arnold...

My training went well this week. My weight loss doesn't seem to have affected my strength...atleast, not this past week anyway. My weight is in the mid 150's and yet, I'm progressively getting stronger. You'll definitely see the changes over the next few weeks. As for my strength....my knee injury seems to have subsided, this may be a good indication that it's almost completely healed. I'm back to leg-pressing seven plates/side on the leg press...getting some strength back for squats may take longer though...however, I'm still able to squat 225lbs...so, it's not that bad :) After being sick last week, this week during my chest workout, I still managed to kick up the 70lb dumbbells for incline presses and bench press 205lbs . I was very pleased!
Hope you have a great weekend!
