It's Sunday

Another week has past....jeez, time sure passes by quickly. In the spirit of my pre-contest prep...I'll be adding more video clips of me training in the gym over the next 19 weeks. And, as I get a bit leaner, I'll wear a little less in the gym so you will be able to watch my muscles move and contract :)
Nineteen weeks to go, before I know it, I'll be 9 days out...lol...
It's Sunday which means that I'm training 'back' today....it's a very draining workout and yet it is one of my favorites...perhaps that is why it's one of my better body parts.
My training is going extremely well....my knee injury seems to be non-existant at this time...I'm very happy that I don't have any injuries hindering my prep at this point. I'm training heavy and hard, believe it or not, I'm growing again!
I'll be sure to take some measurements this week to bring you up to date.
I have some good news, I have been in contact with Joanna Thomas...she and I are going to try and shoot together in the near future!
Hope you had a nice weekend!

Hi :)

Well, as of this past Saturday April 16th, I'm 20 weeks out from the Canadians....the beginning stages of my pre-contest prep are underway....I'm not sure whether I'm more nervous or excited these days....I know that I'm excited about getting on stage again, my chances of doing well at the show are very good....but at the same time, I'm feeling nervous already...the anticipation of what's to come can be incredibly nerve wracking...lol...
As part of the gallery section, I will be adding progress pics every week from now until the show. My metamorphosis as I like to call it is very interesting...I physically change in to a different person.... Be sure to watch for the upcoming progress pics....the first set will be posted this week!
Have a great day!

Great News!

This past week, I decided to take the week off of training to let my body rest before I begin my 20 week journey to the Canadians. After weeks of intense training, I felt that it was time for some rest. Although my strength is up and I don't have any nagging injuries my body has started to fatigue a bit....so to be safe...I thought I'd take some time off now before the show. My pre-contest prep this year may be the most grueling experience I have ever faced....I need to be a little leaner and harder, but I am determined to win this year, I'm focussed and ready to rock n' roll.

I have some great news...I'm in the new issue of MuscleMag ! The contest coverage is FINALLY available! Be sure to check it out :)
that's all for now...
