This week....

This week, I added the last of my pre/post contest pics to the gallery section....from here on in, the pics and video clips will be from my current off-season in both the gym and out around the city. You will be able to watch me progress through the remainder of my off-season and right through my pre-contest prep up to and including the day of the show :) The transition or as I call it, the metamorphosis, is remarkable... I hope you'll be able to enjoy the journey as much as I will....it's fascinating to watch my body change.

The last few days have been rough...I'm fighting off a head cold...but even though I'm feeling under the weather, I managed to get through each of my workouts this week....I didn't even lose any strength :) Sick or not, I know I still need to make gains before I start dieting so, I forced myself to the gym. I guess, I'm a bit of a 'die hard'...
until next week....

It's Friday and I'm training 'arms' tonight

It's Friday...the end of the week....while I should be celebrating that the weekend is finally here...for me, it means that I'm training arms tonight....I'm planning to get some video clips from my arm workout tonight so, look for them in the update next Friday :) I'm really looking forward to tomorrow....I tend to eat clean food during the week because I'm in the process of shedding some extra weight...but I use Saturday's as a day of rest...and a day for good food...I guess you could call it a cheat day...
I'm really looking forward to Saturday afternoon because I'll be attending my sister's engagement party which means great food, and lots of visiting with friends and family...it's a catered event and the thought of it is making my mouth water...
The extra food on Saturday should help to fuel my workout on Sunday...I'm excited!
Have a great weekend!

It's nice to be home....

Hi ! I hope your week was as good as mine....
Since arriving home from Calgary, my workouts have been great. The break away from home was very refreshing...I'm back in my own gym and more focused than ever. I've also decided to clean up my diet a bit...I'm not far away from the beginning stages of my pre-contest prep so I decided it was time to trim out some of the junk...I have dropped 10lbs in the last week. My current bodyweight is 160lbs... the sudden weight loss has encouraged me to stick to a cleaner diet plan until I begin my pre-contest diet. I just hope that I can maintain my strength as my weight decreases.
Have a nice weekend!

Have a nice weekend!

This past week was certainly an adventure for me...I travelled with some friends to Calgary, Alberta to work at a booth at the Canadian National Paintball Championships. It was a blast! Along the way, we stopped in a few little towns to accommodate my training schedule. It's always fun to train in a new environment...I find it very motivating. Some of the gyms were nestled in small areas where the members had obviously never seen anyone like me unless it was on TV....the responses were amusing. I wish my strength would have been up to par while travelling, but the drive and crappy food didn't help...it truly began to take its toll on my training. Aside from that, once we arrived in Calgary, I was extremely busy working the booth. Although the trip was great, I'm extremely happy to be home so that I can resume my normal schedule. It won't be long before I start dieting so I need to be consistent with my food intake and training in order to maximize the gains necessary to win this year.
until next week....
Have a great weekend!
