another week passes by....
A week has passed since I arrived home and I'm still finding it difficult to resume a diet plan. I find myself torn between eating healthy/balanced meals and gorging myself with copious amounts of junk food. Jeez, this sport does crazy things to a persons mind/body. I'm still enjoying some much needed rest, I plan to return to the gym on Monday...maybe...we'll see.
Considering I'm in the spirit of eating these days..I baked 8 pans of apple crumble today followed by 4 apple pies and 4 dozen cookies...believe it or not, I didn't eat any of it, I settled for tuna and rice instead. I didn't really have any intentions of baking everything I did, but my sister has a few huge apple trees in her yard that were full of apples so I figured I'd pick a few while I was there yesterday, I ended up leaving with 2 grocery bags full of them. Tomorrow, I'll be delivering all of the baked treats to my family, I certainly won't be able to eat it all... my house literally smells like an apple pie factory...lol...
While I have been taking time off from the gym, I have being using my time to help my brother repaint his new home....what an ordeal that has been...the previous owners left the house in such disarray that we have had to do hours of prep work prior to starting the actual paint job...we're almost done now and the house looks great!
As I mentioned in my last post, my friend Tatianna stayed in Las Vegas after the ME shoot to attend the Olympia...she's finally home... she sent me a few quick pics from behind the scenes at one of the ME shoots, I'll post more when I get them, but I'll share this one with ya for now :)
